In contrast to the 2-stage Knife Sharpener, this Sharpener is for fine sharpening only (for knives that are already moderately sharp or that have already been coarsely sharpened.

• Hand-held pull-through sharpeners will wear down with regular use.  Steel dust may settle between either of the sharpening rods.  Use a small sift brush to dry brush away any remnants.
